Frequently Asked Questions

What is Thout?

Thout is your AI Chief of Staff. It participates in meetings, captures decisions and risks, connects context across conversations over time, and drives execution through Email, Slack, and WhatsApp.

How is Thout different from other AI note takers?

Note takers capture what was said. Thout captures what should happen next. It detects contradictions across meetings, tracks commitments, assigns owners, and drives follow-through.

How do I use Thout in my meetings?

Thout integrates with your calendar and joins Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams meetings automatically. No setup per call.

What kinds of meetings should I use Thout for?

All of them. Buyer calls, investor pitches, team syncs, supplier negotiations, board prep. Thout compounds intelligence across every conversation.

How does Thout handle my data privacy?

Enterprise-grade: data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), hosted on Google Cloud in private VPCs with no public internet exposure. SOC 2 Type I certification is in progress. Full security disclosures — sub-processors, access controls, vulnerability program — on our Trust & Security page.

Does Thout use my data to train AI models?

No. Your meeting data is never used for model training without explicit consent. You own your data completely.

Can I connect Thout to my calendar and other tools?

Yes. Thout integrates with Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, Email, and WhatsApp natively.

What happens after a Thout meeting?

You receive intelligence cards with decisions, commitments, risks, and contradictions. Action items are tracked with owners and deadlines. Follow-ups are pushed to Slack, Email, or WhatsApp.
